Miss Universe 2015 simply made TV history, it will go down as the most awkward, cutthroat and cringe worthy moment on air, leaving global audiences gasping. A plot twist far cruel than a sudden death on Game of Thrones.
You can bet a stunned Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutiérrez would agree! That poor girl! It was so heartbreaking to watch her get stripped of her hopes and dreams.
And "Please don't hold it against the ladies" just doesn't cut it! You could hear the screams and boos off the crowd, it felt like boxing night instead of a pageant affair!
And what a bittersweet win for Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, girl wasn't sure what to do, of course she wants the crown, but really they had to ripped the crown from someone's crying head. Doesn't feel like a win though.
Miss Philippines had the composure of steel, not showing any bit of joy at her sudden win that could easily be mistaken for a moment's schadenfreude. I guess she was just as confused as everyone.
How humiliating for Miss Colombia, and Miss Philippines didn't get to sashay on stage with the crown on her head as they cut her off the show to give way to sponsor logos.
