Who is Kimpoy Feliciano?

Kimpoy Feliciano (aka Paolo "Kimpoy" Vivas Feliciano) is a social media Filipino teen sensation. He has built his fanbase by being "pa-cute" with his "pinoy banats" and love musings via youtube, twitter and tumblr.



Amazingly, he has amassed his popularity without going through the machinations of local showbiz though if he keeps this up, he's bound for it. Blame his luvies, his legion of tween fans who can't stop with the LIKEs and the tweets.



If you still don't get why he's so popular, the kid has a couple of things going for him- he's easy on the eyes (di guwapo per se pero has that boy-next-door-charm). Just think "online pinoy version ni Justin Bieber" the kid acts out a performance and his quips can often be entertaining and memorable.

Breaking news from twitter:
Filipino-Australian singer and thespian RJ Rosales (Roseo José Rosales) has passed away in Sydney on December 4, 2011.

Rosales’ big break was in Miss Saigon. His last film role was in the movie Blue Moon where he received a nom for Best Supporting Actor. The past year RJ has been performing regularly in musicals at the Esplanade theater in Singapore.

Rumors on the cause of his death abound in twitter ranging from a heart attack down to suicide. Details of his death have yet to be confirmed.

A very tragic and brutal thing to happen to a young and promising lady. Her name says it all, she was a Given Grace to her family. I do not know her, but what happened to her opens back the old wounds at UPLB, the brutal killing of Aileen Sarmenta by that crazy mayor, this time its another loss for the community and the issues of campus safety is put back into the spotlight.

BOO! to ABSCBN news for posting that graphic mobile phone pic of the victim still tied down. It took awhile for the news team to take the photo down (so much for sensitivity). And where did that pic come from? from SOCO? Should news people even be near and walking around the crime scene? anubeh!



As of today, her facebook page is still accessible and a touching tribute is posted online by her orgmate which makes it seemed all too surreal, reading her lasts posts, seeing all her photos at the UPLB campus. One can clearly seeing how much she loved life and the people around her. Hope her family finds justice and very soon.
