For almost a year you had the audacity to live with that woman in the same building were your own children lives.”

Liezl Martinez Dies of Cancer

 Liezl Martinez passed away on Saturday morning around 6:15 a.m. She has been battling cancer for several years now. She was 47.

 She is the wife of Albert Martinez. They are a well known Filipino showbiz couple.

"No pain in my life worse than this." This is what her mother, actress Amalia Fuentes said in an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

 

Liezl was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, but despite her condition, she was still able to serve as one of the members of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).

 
Anna Lissa Muhlach Sumilang is the daughter of 1950s Pinoy cinema icon Amalia Fuentes. Her first movie role was at the age of four in the film “Portrait of an Angel”. She is the cousin of Nino and Aga Muhlach.



She is survived by her children- Alyanna, Alfonso and Alissa and her husband Albert Martinez. Her wake is currently held at Arlington.

In a 3 page complaint filed before the QC Prosecutor’s office, Taxi driver Salvador Ogdiman, 42
has identified Mark Herras and his crew of attacking him and repeatedly punching him after their cars nearly collided at the corner of Scout Torillo and Scout Rallos streets at around 5 p.m. on Oct. 26.

Chin-Chin Gutierrez has followed in the footsteps of her late mom who was an ex-nun. Chin-Chin Gutierrez is now a madre at the Carmelite convent in Tagaytay. She has taken the name Sister Lourdes. She has also been spotted singing the “Magnificat during a Sunday mass. Her official website also confirms the talented actress' new religious calling.

The actress is a graduate of Miriam College (formerly Maryknoll) with a cum laude in mass communication.
