2. Along President Quirino - Roxas Boulevard to Taft Avenue - South Super Highway
   
   Right turn at M. Adriatico, left at Vito Cruz, left at Taft Avenue to destination


3. All Provincial Buses from Cavite - Roxas Boulevard
   
   Right turn at Vito Cruz, left turn at Taft Avenue to destination or vice versa

Bourne Legacy Shoot in Manila Philippines

The Bourne Legacy shooting is currently ongoing now in Taft Avenue, Malate and San Andres area. They have closed these areas now for the Bourne Legacy filming.

Due to the Bourne Legacy Shooting, there will be a Traffic Re-routing Scheme (January 11-15, 2012) issued by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority. Please be advised of the alternatives city routes, avoid these areas at all cost. But if you plan to stalk Jeremy Renner in the Philippines, then you know where to find him.

The Rappler got it first. Our first glimpse of Bourne Legacy star Rachel Weisz at the NAIA, Manila Philippines.

According to the Rappler, a new Philippine News site, Weisz arrived in Manila last Sunday January 8, via Cathay Pacific flight CX 903 at 6:30 pm for the January film shoot of the Bourne Legacy. Here we can see the lovely Miss Rachel playing paparazzi herself using her own cell phone. Hope she has more fun in the Philippines!

Things are heating up for the Bourne Legacy shoot in Manila as Filipinos are getting the 'Bourne' fever over the Bourne Legacy Casting Calls that have been making rounds.

Bourne Legacy Philippine producer Lope ‘Jun’ Juban Jr. has now denied that they are looking for 1000 extras to be part of the film. He has declared that the Bourne Legacy Casting Call is a hoax.

The number is quite exaggerated, but obviously if you're filming on location in Manila, you're going to need locals as extras. Can you imagine Jeremy Renner running along Pasay with NOT a Pinoy in sight?

According to the Philippine Producer Lope Juban, "If the film would ever need many extras, they will tap those already on location because those persons would be familiar with the immediate environment and will act naturally."

Okay in that case, Pinoys in their casual sandos and puruntongs will be showing up at the following Bourne Legacy Manila shooting dates:

• Portions of San Andres St. from January 11 to 15
• J. Bocobo corner Remedios streets, January 18 and 19
• Leveriza Street, from Balingkit to San Andres, January 15
• San Andres corner Quirino and Taft Avenue, January 14
• Riverside Road, Real and Sta. Lucia Streets in Intramuros, January 25 and February 17 and 18
• Jones Bridge, February 5
• Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard, February 8 to 15.

The filming locations were outline in a Mayor's permit letter submitted to Secretary to the Mayor Rafaelito Garayblas



More tidbits on the Bourne Legacy shoot, there's going to be some bike scenes and rumors of closing down the MRT to shoot some chase scenes on the MRT stations. Rachel Weisz also has scene where she will be riding a jeepney as it spins around in Pasay Taft.

So far, all this Bourne fever is just AWESOME!
