All Meralco business payment centers are OPEN until 5pm on April 1. Starting April 2 to April 4, meralco payment centers are closed.

Just paid my Meralco bill today at Meralco Makati in Kamagong street near the Makati Fire Station.
They are open until 5pm. The line is long, but bearable. And yes, they cut off your power even if you lapse one single payment. Namumutol sila kahit wala pa isang buwan full circle, basta missed payment, may disconnection notice agad. 15 days lang ang palugit or less.

No a Meralco freebie is not worth your life. But life is hard in the Philippines. People getting toasted on chaotic electric wires are just regular news.
