Bala sa Bagahe: NAIA Airport Staff Asks Balikbayan to Pay P500 for Bullets in her Luggage

The luggage pocket where they supposedly "found" the bullets.

Mrs. De Guzman's luggage went through the NAIA x-ray machine and she was flagged for carrying bullets in the pockets of her travel luggage.

I reiterated that those bullets were not mine and that I have no idea where they came from.

Without any other question towards me, they asked for my passport and my greencard. They threatened that they will be putting this on my record and will reflect on all my future travels.

Eto ang buong Facebook post ni Ginang De Guzman :

Nakakaloka talaga ang NAIA!!! I just got off a flight from Manila to LAX at talaga namang ang pangongotong sa Pilipinas e hindi natatapos!!!

I got to NAIA Terminal 2 between 6:30-6:45PM September 18, 2015. I was in a wheelchair and only had three bags. One was pushing my wheelchair and the other was pushing my baggage. My bags were xrayed as per procedure.

Without any other question towards me, they asked for my passport and my greencard. They threatened that they will be putting this on my record and will reflect on all my future travels. I reiterated that those bullets were not mine and that I have no idea where they came from.

Balikbayan Box Philipines: Custom Tax and Inspection of OFW Padala

Our OFWs deserve better! #balikbayanbox

Mary Joy Soriano: Pinay OFW from DOHA nabbed for Smuggling Liquid Cocaine in NAIA

Mary Joy Soriano is a 25-year-old OFW going home to Quirino province. She arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on board Emirates Airline flight 332 where liquid cocaine place in shampoo bottles were found in her luggage.

The liquid cocaine according to authorities when transformed to powder, could weigh as much as 2 kilograms and can be sold for about P10 million.

Soriano had many stops before flying back to Manila, she went to Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Dubai, Brazil and then Qatar. Soriano is in custody by the PDEA and is now undergoing tactical interrogation. The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency is trying to identify the group intent to pick up the contraband. Mary Joy Soriano claims she was only paid to carry the items and was not aware that it contained illegal items like liquid cocaine.

Mary Joy Soriano is either a hardcore drug mule or a gullible OFW bringing home what she thought was pasalubong.

Rogelio “Dondon” Lanuza, an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) on death row in Saudi Arabia needs our help. Our BIG help as fellow pinoys.

DonDon's family needs to raise P35 million pesos ($800,000) to match the "blood money" require by the aggrieved Arab family, this is to spare Don Don Lanuza from beheading. The circumstances as to which Don Don ended up killing an Arab national are complicated or can be summed up as self-defense (Kabayan tingin mo meron OFW ang magtatangkang pumatay sa Saudi? unless nasa peligro siya at pinaglaban lamang ang sarili).

Time is running out for Don Don, there is only a certain amount of time he can raise these funds. He has been languishing in jail since 2000. Its about time we send Don Don home. All he is asking is your small change.
