Chris Brown Stopped from Leaving Manila Philippines Because of No-Show at Iglesia Ni Cristo New Year's Eve Party

Justice Secretary Leila de Lima has issued a lookout bulletin order (LBO) against the 26-year-old R&B singer Chris Brown.

Chris Brown is in the country for his solo concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. According to GMA News:

The LBO stemmed from a letter from Glicerio Santos IV, chief legal counsel of Iglesia Ni Cristo and chief operating officer of the Maligaya Development Corp. (MDC) requesting assistance from the Department of Justice "for the successful prosecution of the criminal complaint which MDC is lodging."

The MDC wanted Brown, who is Christopher Maurice Brown in real life, charged with estafa over his failure to appear in the INC's New Year's event concert on December 31 last year at the Philippine Arena.

The first UFC event in Asia of 2015 will take place in Manila Philippines on May 16, 2015 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Chop Chop Body in a Box left in Quiapo on Eve of Pista ng Nazareno

Just 3 hours ago on the eve of the Black Nazarene parade, a body in a box wrapped in blue plastic and obviously chopped into pieces was left in the middle of Carriedo street in Quiapo.

Chopchop killer on the loose: Police have yet to identify the body. Photos were taken by journo Camille Abadicio.

Witnesses say 2 unidentified men dumped the box in the middle of a busy street of vendors around 3:20 this afternoon.

Who is Kitty Nandang?

ABSCBN reports that an eye-witness to the NAIA 3 shootout heard the gunmen say "Mayor, Mayor! Para ito kay Kitty Nandang!" (Hey Mayor! This is for Kitty Nandang!) and proceeded to shoot the mayor, his wife, the bystanders which included a baby and a 3 year-old girl (both were shot on the head).

In a letter addressed to Secretary de Lima, Rayyam Talumpa (the Mayor's daughter) said the witness identified the gunman as a certain Marox Amlong.

So is killing in the name of Kitty Nandang worth the lives of those innocent children at the airport? Honestly, who votes for these people? All they think about is getting back at each other whatever the cost, and not really serving their communities peacefully. A mother Mary Ann Lirazan lost her child to what end? To a political rivalry she has no part in?  So much blood this Christmas :(

SLEX Accident: Don Mariano Bus Falls Off Skyway

Another grim SLEX Bus Accident happened hours ago, the body count is displayed on the road for everyone to see.

Dahil piloto-in-training ang mga driver ng Don Mariano Bus, biyaheng langit at mabilis ito magpatakbo~ enough na lumipad sa ere ang bus. Mapait na 'Merry-Christmas' ito sa mga pasahero. Parang gudlak na lang 'tol sa pag-uwi!

The driver of runaway Don Mariano Bus survived. The Don Mariano Bus took more fatalities as it landed on a van below.

Based on records, the Don Mariano Transit bus was named as the most dangerous bus operator in Metro Manila based on damages to property since 2011.

Okay they've been holding that record, pero operational pa rin sila? Anubeh!

As of this hour, all 78 units of Don Mariano Bus Transit have been suspended, immediate stop in their operations was enforced by the LTFRB.

According to LTFRB Chairman Winston Ginez, the owner of the Don Mariano Bus Transit, Dr. Melissa Lim, has agreed to recall all the buses and will have to undergo road-worthiness inspections.

LRT Baby

Today, a baby was born on the LRT. Mommy Darlyn Edio was helped by the LRT security guard Michelle Manansala and nurse Maria Cecilia Lopez who happened to be on the train that time. No Jiggy Manicad is not the dad, he's interviewing Dra. Cajipe of the Fabella Memorial Hospital. Mommy Darlyn Edio and her baby are doing great!

In some countries, a baby born on the train receives a lifetime free pass, but you can count on the local LRT management not to set such a precedent. Otherwise, we would have a full labor ward at the women's coach by now.
