Bukas Ba ang Meralco ng Holy Week? Is Meralco Open on Holy Week?

Hope you paid your electricity bill on time. So is Meralco open this Holy Week?

All Meralco business payment centers are OPEN until 5pm on April 1. Starting April 2 to April 4, meralco payment centers are closed.

Just paid my Meralco bill today at Meralco Makati in Kamagong street near the Makati Fire Station.
They are open until 5pm. The line is long, but bearable. And yes, they cut off your power even if you lapse one single payment. Namumutol sila kahit wala pa isang buwan full circle, basta missed payment, may disconnection notice agad. 15 days lang ang palugit or less.

Ina Raymundo Maitim Kili-Kili: Dark Underarms Fuel Instagram War

Nothing like a Holy Week shocker, Ina Raymundo is being plagued by bashers on Instagram for a fitting room shot of her in a swimsuit where her left armpit is exposed.

In fairness, kaiingit ang thigh gap ni Mommy Ina Raymundo

Maitim ba ang kili-kili ni Ina Raymundo? Not really. This remains to be seen up close. It could just be a case of bad lighting. Mga pinoy nga naman, mapanglait  :(

Some people on social media defended the actress from this kind of public body shaming.

Taken with a mobile camera, one can say that the actress supposed dark under arms are not really that dark with libag or discolored by hormones. Ina Raymundo has normal sweat pits people. I'm sure they smell great!

So what has Ina Raymundo have to say about her bashers?

"Sige nga patingin ng mga kili-kili niyo. Hiyang-hiya naman ako."

Great comeback, Ina! That's putting 'em in their place!

Bea Alonzo Buntis: Pregnancy Rumors Hound Kapamilya Star

'Bea Alonzo is pregnant?' News have been going around that the actress Bea Alonzo is pregnant after a series of sightings that she is showing a pregnancy bump.  Also her non showbiz sightings, less than usual appearances on TV have fueled speculation even more.

Well, no need to hide Bea, congratulations if ever you are having a baby with Zanjoe Marudo.

Here are recent snaps of the actress. Let's just say she's keeping it safe, no bump visible here.

If ever she has a big bloated belly bump, it's probably just gas. Bea has gas or kabag like the rest of us.

Bea Alonzo last TV appearance was her last soap “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon” which ended October 2014. The last buzz about Bea was her time at hospital due to a sailing accident. Either the star is pregnant, not getting any interesting projects or simply taking time off.

P10 Rollback of Taxi Flag Down Rate in Manila Philippines

So how's your P10 fare cut on taxi flag-down rate experience so far?

According to LTFRB, the taxi meters won't be recalibrated. Taxi drivers will have to manually deduct P10 from the total fare. The P40 would still appear on the taxi meter but the passengers would have to pay P10 less in their actual fare.

Yes, we have nicely asked the taxi driver for the P10 deduction. I tried that and nayayamot si Mamng taxi driver. Can't blame the guy. The whole process is screwy. Okay ask for the P10 less and you get a grumpy driver.

So what steps are the LTFRB taking to enforce the P10 fare deduction?

They have the P10 Less stickers to remind the cab driver and passenger.

You can report the Cabbie. Please report taxi drivers who refuse to acknowledge the P10-rollback to the LTFRB via 426-2515 or 09214487777.

And why can't they just get the meters recalibrated?
According to the LTFRB - the rollback is only provisional.

Toni Gonzaga Says Sorry for Binibining Pilipinas Hosting Snafu

After pointing the blame to organizers who gave her 'specific instructions' on how to host the event. TV host Toni Gonzaga has officially apologized for her Binibining Pilipinas hosting style which Pinoys on Twitter were quick to point out as offensive and inappropriate for such a glam event
Toni Gonzaga's statement regarding Bb. Pilipinas:

“First of all I want to say thank you very much to the committee of Binibining Pilipinas for the opportunity to host such a wonderful event kasi first time kong ma-experience ‘yung ganong kasayang crowd, ka-wildna audience and it was definitely a memorable experience to me. To those who were not pleased, siyempre po do’n po muna sa hindi natuwa and hindi naibigan ang napanood nila nong Sunday, I am humbly asking for an apology kung I have offended or I have hurt anyone of you but it was never my intention because prior to the show I was instructed po to make the show fun, light and ease the tension especially in the Q and A portion. So it was never my intention, again, it was instructed for me to host that way, to make it lively and fun of course in the spirit of the celebration of Binibining Pilipinas coronation night and ‘yun po siguro ‘yung stand ko don. I don’t want to miss this opportunity to thank everyone, ‘yung mga friends ko po from the press, my friends in the industry who have been defending me and nagsasalita ng good and kind words sa akin, maraming, maraming salamat po. I really and truly appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. And also I would like to thank the Binibining Pilipinas committee for commending the job I did last Sunday, maganda po ‘yung mga sinasabi nila sa akin. Actually even the special events they texted me with very nice and encouraging words and I am very thankful for that. In the spirit of beauty pageants, let’s end the issue in world peace.” - Toni Gonzaga

Toni Gonzaga's apology came a day after beauty queen Nina Ricci Alagao's apology.

Nina Alagao was one of the celebs who took to Twitter and called out Toni Gonzaga on how inappropriate the TV host was.
