Seth Stanley Gaviola Radam: Physical Therapist Goes on Shopping Spree on Stolen Credit Card

Viral on Facebook the credit card holder posted how his credit card was cloned:

My credit card was cloned and used to make purchases amounting to almost 50k at SM Bacoor today. Fortunately I was notified via text message so we immediately called the credit card company and the stores where the purchases were made. A few hours later the suspect was caught after the staff of Techno Kid and Nike coordinated with mall security. They say he has other cloned cards on hand and may have victimized other card holders.

Milo Chocolate Drink Philippines: Mom Opens Milo Tetra Pack and Finds Tiny Crusty Eggs

OMG!!! I already saw a post about this incident, but never ko naisip mae-experience din namin! My 7 y/o son just opened this Milo tetra pack (expiration date: 05DEC15) and paginom nya nagulat ako tumakbo nalang sya sa sink halos masuka!! He said "Mommy, expired na ata!". When I grabbed the pack from him I immediately check the expiration date, ok, di pa expired! That THING is what we found at the bottom of the pack!! It smelled putrid!! If you look closely....parang may eggs na dikit dikit! I don't know and I don't have any idea kung ano to!! POINT is... NAINOM (nilunok pa) ng anak ko yan!! What is that?! I will call the grocery store where I bought the product to inform them about this horror para malaman nila na may ganitong product sa shelves nila!! Sana makarating to sa Nestle Philippines!! My God, what if yung 2 y/o ko nakainom nito?! If something goes wrong with my son, I'll see you Milo sa head office nyo!

I think the nightmare here is that her son swallowed some of these nasty things whatever they are.

It looks like congealed starch or I really hope it is not insect eggs. It could just a really bad batch from the factory or the juice box was compromised in the supermarket shelves?

Hope Nestle gets this straightened out, everyone loves Milo dammit!  Sweldo na pa man din and grocery time bukas.

General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital: ER Staff Ignores Old Patient Coughing Blood

Concerned citizen NeNet Leaban Gonzales couldn't stand it any longer, the old man in the ER was coughing out blood rather profusely. Patients around the old man were becoming uncomfortable as well, he had a mere ice cream bucket to catch all the blood with and on his left hand, a Fita Biscuit he would not let go of.

At the emergency room of the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital in Trece Martires Cavite, the queue for patients is often long and waiting in line becomes a game of hanging on for help. Miss NetNet felt the old man really needed help, but the staff was taking longer to get back to the old guy, so she took out her phone and started taking pictures, only then did the hospital staff came back to check on grandpa.

How to Commute to Mercedes Avenue, Barangay San Miguel, Pasig City, Philippines

To get to  Barangay San Miguel, Pasig City, Philippines:

Take MRT to Shaw Blvd.

Then ride a Pasig Palengke-bound jeep, tell the driver you are alighting at the palengke area, then when the jeep reaches the palengke, ride another jeep, the Taytay/Cainta-bound jeep, tell the jeepney driver to drop you off at One Mercedes/Jollibee Mercedes/Rustan's. Once you reach this intersection, you are now at Mercedes Avenue, you can either walk or take a tricycle to any specific street of Barangay San Miguel.

UP Enrollment: The Enrollment System at the University of the Philippines

It seems the University of the Philippines' enrollment system is not up to standard at all. You think they'd be the University with the most efficient and organized system in the country. NOPE. Students have to camp out or sleep the night over, there's the classic long lines, missing names and missing grades. So 80s.

Metro Manila Earthquake Drill

Musta Metro Manila Earthquake Drill today? #MMShakeDrill

Staying safe and getting prep for the 'Big Quake' is the order of the day.

Students get used to the sound of the fire alarms during the earthquake drill. So when the quake actually happens, hopefully everyone stays calm, no panicking and pushing, just exiting the building in an orderly manner.

There hasn't been a major earthquake in the Philippines in 25 years. And we all remember what happened in the last one.

Cinema Rehiyon 7: Cebu Film Festival

A total of seventeen full length films are set to grace Cebu cinemas from August 6-9, 2015 as part of the Cinema Rehiyon 7, the flagship project of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts’ (NCCA) National Committee on Cinema (NCC) headed by Director William Mayo.

Cinema Rehiyon 7 adopts the theme “At the Crossroads of the Seventh Art and showcases the best regional films from across the archipelago. Set in Cebu, CR7 would be highlighting the unique characteristics of Cebuano films.

“Cebu has a unique situation. A local industry sprung from the province around 1932 to 1975. Also, there is a resurgence of a new breed of Cebuano filmmakers,” shares NCC Vice-Head Teddy Co.

Cebuano actors from the 70’s and the 80’s including the Queen of Visayan Movies Gloria Sevilla, Pilar Pilapil, Suzette Ranillo, Julian Daan and Undo Juizan, the first ever Cebuano FAMAS Best Child Actor Awardee for the film “Salingsing sa Kasakit”, are expected to attend the festival as homage to Cebuano film culture.

True to its aim to highlight Cebuano local films, CR7 opens the festival with a classic Cebuano film by Leroy Salvador. First screened in 1968, Badlis sa Kinabuhi starred Sevilla and Mat Ranillo Jr.

To highlight Filipino resiliency, a set of regional films are dedicated to the aftermath of Typhoon Yolanda. These films are T.M. Malones’ Dapya Sang Paglaum, Charena Escala and Rowena Sanches’ documentary Nick and Chai, and Thomas Fitzgerald’s Tigdao.

Films taking on various indigenous traditions are also included in the CR7 line up. Among them are Nef Luczon’s documentary on the Pan-ay Bukidnon community entitled Father said, “Let’s Return Home”, Lester del Valle’s Walang Rape sa Bontok, Adjani Arumpac’s War is A tender Thing and Ivy Universe Baldoza’s Marciano. One entry under this category, the Cordilleran tradition featured in Boyong and Sendong’s Busol:  The Last Headhunters, is a perfect example of native indigenous film, produced by and for the Cordilleran community.

Other films included in the line-up for CR7 are Remton Zuasola’s Soap Opera, which serves as the festival’s pre-opening film, Bagane Fiola’s Sonata Maria, Jason Paul Laxamana’s Magkakabaung, Lemuel Lorca’s Mauban: Ang Resiko, Charliebeb Gohetia’s Chasing the Waves, and Alec Figuracion’s Bitukang Manok, a product of an all Cebuano crew from the province’s IAFT film school.

Kidlat Tahimik’s Balikabayan #1: memories of Overdevelopment Redux III closes the fest. The film follows Enrique, a Visayan slave to Magellan and is said to be Tahimik’s tribute to the pre-Hispanic Cebuano who possibly is the first man to circumnavigate the world.

Aside from the full length line-up, there will also be screenings of contemporary Cebuano short films at the mini theater of Film and Media International Arts Academy (FMA), outreach screenings in select venues, outdoor screenings as well as a special viewing of National Artist Lamberto Avellana’s rarely seen creations.

This year’s CR7 festival also offers unique opportunities to hear in-depth discussions about: Re-imagining Regional Cinema, The Regional as the Other in Cinema, Getting the World to See youth Film and Film as Heritage. These topics will be discussed by some of the country’s top industry stakeholders.

The feels mehn...
