Ulrich Notter is working hard to earn a decent living selling his home made Swiss munchkins in front of the Cebu Normal University.

The Swiss pastrymaker would rather sell munchkins in the streets of Cebu than go home to his country. Though mala MMK levels ang buhay ni Koya Ulrich, marunong ito magsalita ng Bisaya at masipag ito.

Unfortunately, his Pinay wife left him broke and bone dry after giving her everything she wanted. Instead of begging or going home to Switzerland, Ulrich is working his way to live here in the Philippines.

Notter sells his muchkins at P2.50 each. Mura lang, keri na! 

He makes about P300 to P400 per day, just enough for food and rent. He loves the climate here and still dreams BIG, he wants to run his own canteen in Cebu.

Crying Cop: PO1 Joselito ‘Toto’ Sevilla - Suspended, Forced Leave or Fired?

We all know the images that went viral yesterday of  PO1 Joselito ‘Toto’ Sevilla, a big Teddy bear of a policeman who shed tears at the SONA protest rally. He's all for PEACE after all.

But our dear police officer will not be reporting for duty for the next two weeks.According to Marikina Police Station Chief Sr. Supt. Reynaldo Jagmis, they allowed Sevilla to take a 15-day leave upon his request made through his wife Rhoda on Tuesday.

Glad to hear the man was not fired or sack for showing his emotions. PO1 Sevilla has been in the police force for 12 years, this is the first time he suffered a public "breakdown." According to his wife Rhoda, "He really practiced maximum tolerance.” These protest rallies do really escalate into violence and sometimes rather quickly.

After all the man was exhausted- tired and hungry from being in the front lines under the sun all day. He deserves a break- and not humiliation or further bashing online.

This American was conned out of his money by a Filipina. He was left wandering around Intramuros begging for food in Mcdonalds, Intramuros. A group of Lyceum of the Philippines University students decided to help the dude and buy him food.

Davao City Kidnapping Foiled: Businesswoman Sally Chua Rescued

"Sa mga kriminal, kung gusto ninyo mamatay, testingi ang dabaw"

A graphic video of the aftermath of the shootout in Davao was posted on Vice Mayor Pulong Duterte's official Facebook account.  These are the photos of the kidnappers after the shootout with Davao police. True enough with its rumored DDS and tough stance on crime, Davao City is the safest province in the nation (at least has the lowest crime rate).

Davao City Police rescued businesswoman Sally Chua who had been kidnapped in Quezon City, but ended up down south in Davao City where the victim was forced to withdraw 15 million pesos from Allied bank. During the rescue, a shootout ensued and authorities killed at least 2 of the woman's 14 kidnappers.

According to Region 11 police director, Chief Superintendent Jaime Morente, it was Sally Chua herself who suggested the ransom payoff be given in Davao City because "she was confident they would be caught here."

Makati City Fire Photos: Pictures ng Sunog sa Makati Philippines

There were two fires that broke out in Makati City today.

The fire started at the creekside shantytown right beside Makati Medical Center around 10:25 a.m. This is the area of the Botanical Compound between Amorsolo and Urban streets (next to Campus Rueda Building). Exploding Liquefied Petroleum Gas tanks further contributed to the blaze.

Another fire broke out at Bagtikan street, Barangay San Antonio, Makati City (1 block away from the Makati Fire Station and Meralco Main Branch Makati)

An unseeming sight to see squatters' houses burn away amidst the high-rise buildings.

Rumors abound that the fire was deliberate to drive away the informal settlers- to avoid violent protests and demolitions, and for the landowners to avoid any dole-outs of compensation. The land will easily give way to new condos and prime office spaces.

Twitter and Facebook was instantly flooded with pics of the fire coming in from office workers and nearby residents. Fire engines littered the Legaspi area.

One office worker even managed to find time to do a 'tasteless' selfie. Obviously, the sight of fire and homes' burning to the ground excites her this much.

Fire Out was called at 12:59 pm This was what was left of the Creek side carinderias and shanties. The kids who live here go to the nearby Makati Elementary school. Some were even in their school uniforms helping their parents save what's left of their belongings.
